Walmart and The Cookware Company - Mobile Billboards
Summary
If you’ve ever had it in mind to get a new pot or pan for your kitchen but never got around to it, maybe you just needed some motivation at the right time and place. The Cookware Company, a global business that produces and distributes many quality cookware brands, took just this tactic. Together with Walmart, their largest retail partner, the company came to Movia for a five-week highly targeted out-of-home marketing campaign in Atlanta to drive interest in their brand Greenlife available at select Walmart locations. In total, over 14 Million out-of-home impressions were delivered, and almost 800,000 device IDs within their core demographic were captured; However it didn’t end there, trucks displaying their ads were strategically placed at the store’s parking lots on weekends. As the last advertising message anyone saw before entering the store, their products were top of mind. And because the cookware was available right then and there, it was easy for consumers to complete the purchase cycle as they walked by the aisle, making for a successful campaign with pots and pans moving off shelves and into people’s kitchens.
