Eastlink logo for their truck advertising campaign

Summary

If you’re like most people, you probably don’t see a huge difference from one Telco company to another. So when Eastlink, a wireless provider based in Halifax, had a useful proposition to share, they wanted to spread the word fast. They turned to Movia to talk to consumers about their new data rollover plan, which allows Eastlink users to bank unused data from one month and use it in the next. Eight trucks displaying the offer were deployed in Sudbury, Grand Prairie, Halifax, and New Brunswick, with 2 trucks per market. Delivery vehicles with residential routes were chosen, targeting people while at home – where there was a good chance they were using their data, or perhaps even paying the bill of a competing Telco. The campaign resulted in 20 million impressions over a 9 week run, successfully bringing awareness of Eastlink’s new plan to the people most likely to care.
