It all started in 2015 when founder, Casey Binkley saw an opportunity. He noticed that there were hundreds of trucks on the road – right in people’s lines of sight – that were simply blank. He realized that each of them had the potential to become a moving billboard, driving a brand’s message to anyone on its route. And that unlike traditional out-of-home media, these spaces wouldn’t be limited by city restrictions. Even better, they could reach specific audiences at specific times and places – even places advertisers might never have thought to go before.
Taking the idea one step further, technology was added to the mix. Today, Movia is the only mobile billboard/truck wrap supplier that incorporates GPS tracking and Impression Analytics into its offering – capturing where the trucks are at any given moment, who is seeing them, and how many impressions the ad is gathering. These abilities mean Movia is much more than a company that puts ads on trucks.
